Lime Crime: So Bright, It's Illegal!

Like most real-life fairy tales, our growing makeup company began with one person’s technicolor dream and a desire to make the world a brighter place – literally! It all started in 2008 when NYC-based makeup artist, model, lifestyle blogger, and self-proclaimed “Unicorn Queen” Doe Deere realized she simply couldn’t find makeup bright enough. Lime Crime Makeup fills the voids in the makeup universe where “super cute” and “super bright” are missing.

We focus on creating the most intensely pigmented, premier dare-to-wear cosmetics with unmatched color payoff and saturation to create looks as vivid, quirky, and unique as our customers. Even our whimsical packaging is distinct to the Lime Crime aesthetic: bright pink, glittery tubes, and the unicorn mascot makes every application a fantastical  event.

Lime Crime has been featured in Elle, Nylon, Daily Candy, Teen Vogue, MTV Buzzworthy, and boasts high-profile celebrity fans such as Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne, and Regina Spektor. In early 2010, Lime Crime will be entering the retail market in US, Australia, Canada and UK with plans for several new product releases.
