"This hasn’t been a nice day AT ALL!” thought Lyla, staring absently out of the glittered taxi window. It was raining, the sky looked grey and it made even the neon colored buildings look dull. As soon as she got home, Lyla looked at the clock and realized she was already late for her friend’s party. But she surely didn’t feel like partying! She was just about to go to sleep when she noticed a small pink container on her pillow. “Oh, the new lipstick! Right, let’s try it on” she thought.
She leaned towards the silver mirror, her mouth now colored of a lovely pastel pink. She pouted. she smiled. She made silly faces. She laughed. She was loving it! Ten minutes later, Lyla was in the cab again, leading off to the party, pink lipstick in her pocket and pink heart-shaped glasses to match. And behind those lenses, even the rain looked fabulous!
